Recently, I had an intensive back pain treatment. I think I injured my back when I tried to lift the barbeque grills to my backyard on a family party last week. I moved in a certain wrong way so it resulted in a spine injury. I immediately went into my house and looked for healing balm to reduce the pain immediately. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find it and I went to my backyard looking for my dad to ask immediate back pain treatment. Although my dad is not a paramedic, he knows pretty much about medical treatments as well as the traditional ones. Well, here is what my dad told me to do to reduce my back pain. Read out if you want to know the back pain treatment that may be helpful for you, just in case if you have a back pain.
My dad told me that I needed to have a hot and cold therapy. This therapy is a common therapy of back pain treatment. In doing this, I took some ice cubes into a cloth and put it on the painful area. My dad said that applying cold is good to minimize the initial back pain or back strain or sprain. I applied the cold compress for about 20 minutes every three to four hours. It is said that ice compress can’t be applied for more than 20 minutes since I or my back could be overexposed to cold. Well, it’s sad to say that I missed the family party but I really needed to get rid of the pain. Then, as the hot and cold therapy continued, I changed my compress to heat compress where I apply heat to my inflamed area. My dad said that heat compress help increasing blood circulation to the back and relaxing my muscles. I took a hot water bottle and put it on my painful back. This treatment was applied four or five hours after the cold compress. I felt better at after even though I had to miss the party, but I really thought I needed a back pain treatment at that time.
There’s nothing pleasant to tell about having a back pain but I can tell you the back pain treatment that may be helpful for you someday if you are undergoing the same issue as I was. However, it’s important to also know that the causes of back pain are from the lack of body hydration and emotional stress. I just figured out and I think I should pay more attention to my daily water supply by drinking sufficient water each day to keep my muscles and joints moist and I should not be too intense to avoid tense back muscles activity.
